Ruth Siddle

Ruth L. Siddle, age 99, of Rocky Ridge, passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 11, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilfred "Sid" Siddle. She is survived by her daughter Margaret Propper and son-in-law Peter; grandchildren, Karsten Propper (Sarah) and Kristina Hersey; two great grandchildren. Ruth was a well known local artist who sold and gave away her paintings. She was best known for her delicate hand-painted Christmas tree ornaments. She was a long time faithful member of Mountain Chapel United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 14, 2010 from 1 until 2 p.m. followed by funeral services beginning at 2 p.m. in the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to follow in the Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. Rev. Tom Parrish will be officiating.
