Russell Fuller

November 5, 1924 — October 6, 2005


of Hoover, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2005, at the age of 80. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII having fought in the Battle of the Bulge and was retired as an electrician after over 50 years from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union 136. Mr. Fuller was predeceased in death by his parents, Luther and Lucy Fuller; two sisters, Hazel Vaught and Gladys Dempsey, all of Birmingham. He is survived by his wife, Jessie Juanita Fuller; a daughter, Sandra Fuller Barnes; a son, Russell Edward Fuller; two grandchildren, Mitzi, Stokes Hutchison and Eric Wesley Fuller; three great grandchildren, J. Jordan White, Logan Stone Tapia, and Paul Jacob Hutchison, all of Birmingham; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 7, 2005, at 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at Currie Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. A graveside service will be held at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South on Saturday, October 8, 2005, at 1:00 pm, with Rev. Freddy Green officiating. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.
