Ruby Hill

age 84, passed away on February 17, 2007. Born in Enterprise, Al in 1922, Catherine later married Armour Lenoir Coggins and raised her children in Forestdale with the love and generosity that was to become her trademark. She was a member of Crumleys Chapel United Methodist Church before retiring to Niceville, Florida. She is preceded in death by her husband, Armour Lenoir Coggins and a granddaughter, Jessica Lani Coggins. Catherine is survived by her husband, Sloan Hill; Children, Vicki Dufresne (Rick), Tony Coggins (Tammy), Phil Coggins (Gina), Sherri Morrow (Russell) and grandson, James Smith (Paige); Grandchildren, Tiffany and Tory Morrow, Lance and Blake Coggins: Great-grandchildren, Kearney, Graham, Rowan and Malcolm Smith. Half-siblings, Nell Kiplinger, Thelma Fleming and Bill Moore. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 19, 2007, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover. Funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tom Winter officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
