of Fairfield, passed away at the age of 73. A member of Bessemer Church of God, Mrs. Durham was a devoted Christian and a Godly woman who had a wonderful singing voice. She was a loving wife and mother and a great cook. She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 50 years, the love of her life, Edward J. Durham. She is survived by 3 daughters, Judy Green (Tommy), Nancy Kemp (Steve) and Barbara Delie (Dave); 3 sons, James Durham (Nina), Steve Durham (Beth) and Bobby Durham (Geanie); grandchildren, Clint, Nathan and Stephen Kemp, Michael, Ryan, Erin, Carli and Shae Durham, Taylor, Austin and Logan Delie, and Sherry Reeves; great grandchildren, Anna Gracen Reeves and Cole Durham; and companion "Little Girl"; 2 brothers, "Sonny" Lynell and Billy Hudgins; and 5 sisters, Ruth Edwards, Marcella Freeman, Shirley West, Imogene Foster and Helen Ellison. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 9, 2005, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover. Funeral service will be on Monday, October 10, 2005, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Richard Lee officiating.
