Ruby Dison

Mrs. Ruby M. Dison, of Vestavia, AL, passed away Monday, June 4, 2012, at the age of 80. She loved to write poems and stories with the theme, "The Glorious Land Above." She loved to play golf as long as she was able, and was a member of Altadena Valley Country Club. She loved her children, grandchildren, but especially her husband. She is survived by her husband of sixty years, Terry Dison, a son, George Steven Dison, two daughters; Terry Gray (Kenny) and Vickie Langston (Michael), one brother, Robert Mizell (Carol), seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 10, 2012, from 12-2 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
