of Homewood, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at the age of 87. She was a member of Vestavia Hills Church of Christ and was known for her sweet disposition, generosity, love for Jesus, and is very happy to be with her Lord in Heaven. Mrs. Burch loved to garden, was a fabulous cook and a champion at doing jigsaw puzzles. She was the best mom and grandmother who has ever lived. She was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Ralph Burch, and a daughter, Eleana White Williams. She is survived by a son, James Albert White (Frances) of Irondale; a daughter, Jackie Kimble Brothers of Hoover; son-in-law, Burson T. Williams, II of Vestavia; seven grandchildren, Burson T. Williams, III (Paula), James A. White, Jr. (LouAnne), Darla Shields Dobbs (Randy), Terri Williams Hallman (Ross), Debbie Shields Griffin, Kathy White Isbell (Gary), and Jennifer Williams Westhoven (Tim); eleven great-grandchildren, Jennifer Shields Stanley (Jason), Kimberly and Benjamin Westhoven, Jordan and Micah Hallman, Laura Isbell Stacks (Shawn), Ashley Isbell, Holly White, Brandon and Brittany Griffin, one great-great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Isbell Stacks. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 8, 2006 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 9, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Minister Jason Moore officiating. The service will be followed by a private interment.
