Roy Kress

85 of Hoover passed away on May, 22, 2010. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Mr. Kress was plant manager for Blaw-Knox Corporation at the Coraopolis PA location and the Warwood WV location. He was also plant manager for Valley Mold and Iron in Chicago IL and Hubbard OH facilities. He was Vice President of Cooper Alloy Corp in Hillside NJ. He was Vice-President of Shellcast Corporation in Sylacauga. He was also Past President of American Foundry Society, Pittsburgh Chapter. He was preceded in death by his daughter Katherine Kress Buono. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Helen Callahan Kress; one son, Mark A. Kress (Libbie) and one daughter, Nancy K. Foltin; two grandchildren, Geoffrey A. Foltin (Jenny) and Jonathan A. Kress. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. Visitation will be on Monday from 5 until 7 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home on Hwy 150. In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to the National Shrine of St. Jude, 205 West Monrose St. Chicago IL 60606.
