Roy Frazier

of Hoover, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2008 at the age of 82. He was a US Naval Veteran during WWII. Mr. Frazier was a graduate of Tulane University and received his Master's Degree from the University of Florida. He taught for several years before he went to work for the Social Security Administration where he was employed for over 25 years. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Louise T. Frazier; one son, Jim Frazier of Hoover, AL; two daughters, Valerie Lucky (Bob) of Shelby County and Donna Schimmel (Richard) of Macon, MS; seven grandchildren, Dan Lucky, Julie Lucky, Holly Wiggins, Marie Brunson, Laura Griffin, Lou Pate and Bryan Schimmel; and seven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 24, 2008 from 2-3:00 pm at Chapel in the Pines Presbyterian Church. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 pm at the church, Rev. Pat Rabun officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Chapel in the Pines Presbyterian Church.
