Ronald Young

Mr. Ronald Lynn "Ronnie" Young, of Birmingham, AL went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, February 13, 2012 at the age of 57. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His heart, kindness, and ability to make us all laugh will be sorely missed. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Teresa Young, a son, Ronnie Young, Jr., two daughters, Kimberly Miller (Bill) and Amber Young Fortner (David), three brothers, Dennis Young (Glenda), Todd Young, and Steve Young (Lesa), a sister, Cathy Kelley (Jack), two grandchildren, Will Miller, and Abigail Fortner, and his parents, Gerald and Frances Young. The family will receive friends Friday, February 17, 2012, from 9-10 AM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home with funeral services following at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, www.diabetes.org.
