Ronald Ellis Stephens

Ronald Ellis Stephens, age 60, of Bessemer, AL, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2025. Ronald was born on February 12, 1965. He graduated from Bessemer Faith Academy in 1983. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, L.E. and Betty Stephens, and his brother Leslie G. Stephens. He is survived by his sisters Deb Dennis, Cindy Oglesby (Van), and his brother Scott Stephens (Jill), and his sister in law Carol Stephens. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Jamie Goza (Gary), Julie Horton (Allen), Jennifer Tolleson (Clint), Lauren Durrett (Chad), Mary Blaire Stephens, Craig Oglesby (Michelle), Hunter Oglesby (Dana), Bailey Stephens (Brittany), and Brianne Stephens.

Ronald was a skilled tradesman in the HVAC business and maintained his own practice for many years. He touched many lives through his work and his activity in the community.

A public viewing will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 12:00 pm- 1:00pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home on Highway 150. The graveside service will follow from 1:00 pm- 1:30 pm.
