Robert Rockett, Jr

Robert C. "Bob" Rockett, Jr., of Hoover, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at the age of 86. He graduated from West End High School, attended UT Arlington and UAB, served in the US Merchant Marines, and the US Army. Bob worked at ZURN Industries and retired from Barron Industries. He is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Renie Rockett. He is survived by his daughter, Cathy Rockett Marks (Doug); 2 sons, Skip Rockett (Sherry) and Tim Rockett (Connie); 6 grandsons, Matt Rockett (Saragrace), Jim Rockett, and Richard Rockett, Ryan, Nathan (Cassie), and Tyler Marks; 2 great grandsons, Saxon and Lawson Rockett; and his sister, Elinor Ferguson (Bill). Friends and family are welcome to an open house at the family residence, Sunday, November 10, 2013, from 2-4 PM.
