Robert Rockett

Robert Curtis “Bobby” Rockett, 88, was born January 4, 1936 to Myrtle and Curtis Rockett and passed peacefully into heaven on August 26, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Patrician Mize Rockett; daughters, Karen Kirkpatrick (Harold) and Diane Morris (Bradley); grandchildren, Alison Ramsey (Josh), Christopher Rockett, Stephanie Spencer (Caleb), Kristen Cabaniss (Anthony), Mitchell Morris (Kirstin); 6 great grandsons and many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by son Keith Rockett. Bobby worked in the automobile industry for many years and was a business owner. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. Funeral service will be held at Asbury UMC on Friday, August 30 at 1:00 PM with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Asbury United Methodist Church, 6690 Cahaba Valley Road, Birmingham, AL 35242.
