Robert Prince

Mr. Robert "Bob" Prince, of Pelham, AL, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2012, at the age of 69. He was a US Navy Veteran with 9 years of service. He retired from Xerox Corporation after 30 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman and an enthusiastic Alabama football fan. "Roll Tide!" He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle with a world of friends. He will be deeply missed but will remain forever in our hearts. Thoughts of him will always remind us of his wonderful stories and bring us smiles and laughter. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda Prince, two daughters, Denise Christner (Tim) and Debbie "Dede" Prince, three sisters, Patsy Cunningham, Martha Prince, And Virginia Little, a grandson, Jacob Christner, many nieces, nephews, and friends. A memorial service will be Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at 12 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
