Robert Hereford

of Alabaster passed away Monday, February 14, 2005 at the age of 73. Mr. Hereford was retired from U.S. Steel, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pelham. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Hereford He is survived by his wife, Frances Hereford of Alabaster; two sons, Scott Hereford (Cindy) of Birmingham, Mark Hereford (Tracy) of Helena; one daughter, Lauren Wilson (Bill) of Birmingham; nine grandchildren, Justin, Taylor, Stephen, Mary Ashley, Reed, Caitlyn, Christina, Jenna and Claire; two brothers, Joe Guy Hereford (Sue) of McCalla and Ray F. Hereford (Shirley) of Alabaster; one sister, Mary Iris "Mikki" Bond of Birmingham. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 16, 2005 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Graveside service will be on February 17, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.
