Robert Fuqua

Mr. Fuqua, 93, of Hoover, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2016. He attended West End High School and was a WWII veteran aboard the U.S.S. Flounder submarine. He was one of the oldest members of the IBEW Local 136 and was a retired journeyman electrician.

He is preceded in death by his wife, of 50 years, Elizabeth Dryden Fuqua. He is survived by his three sons, Robert L. Fuqua (Cynthia), Dr. Thomas H. Fuqua (Vicky), and Michael H. Fuqua (Laura); his daughter, Susan Fuqua Gamble (Mark); 9 Grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren; and his sister, Betty M. Duke.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to Pelham Baptist Church
