Robert Fowler

Mr. Robert E. Fowler, age 56, of Bessemer, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2011. He was owner of Fowler Gutter Service and a member of the Home Builders Association. He was an avid golfer and loved being outdoors. He loved Alabama Football. He was a loving husband, father, son and brother and was devoted to his family. He is preceded in death by his father, C J Fowler and brother, Butch Fowler. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Wanda Crowe Fowler; daughter, Monica Fowler Miller (Forrest); son, Joe Fowler; mother, Betty Brill Fowler Blankenship; sisters, Debbie Thompson (Alan), Rhonda Fowler (Terry), Cathy Clayton (Bill), Regina Sims (Danny); brothers, Mark Fowler (Amy), Keith Fowler and Darryl Fowler (Lisa); grandmother, Gladys Baugh; and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 11 AM at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home with burial in the Arnold's Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home.
