Robert Dickinson

DICKINSON, ROBERT N., of Hoover, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2008, at the age of 80. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald J. Dickinson, Sr. and Mable Hardy Dickinson; brothers, Donald J. Dickinson, Jr. and Raymond O. Dickinson; daughter, Anita E. Dickinson; and son, Robert N. Dickinson, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Elizabeth Dickinson; daughter, Doris Dickinson; and several nieces and a nephew. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 21, 2008 from 9:30-11:00 AM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Funeral service will be held Friday, November 21, 2008 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel, Tony Hebson officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Birmingham Humane Society, Jimmie Hale Mission, or a favorite charity.
