Robert Bolin

Mr. Robert Alan Bolin, of Birmingham, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at the age of 60. He was the youngest child of Henry Bolin and Mary Ellen Bolin.

Randy was a gregarious person who was loved by many. "Daddy B” was happiest driving his boat on Smith Lake. You could also find him in Tuscaloosa on game days cheering on his beloved Crimson Tide.

Randy is preceded in death by his father, Henry Bolin. He is survived by his wife, of 36 years, Karen; two daughters and son in laws, Jennifer Bolin Gould and Aaron Gould, Kathryn Bolin Kennedy and Scott Kennedy; his grandsons Coulson and Truitt Kennedy and Grant Gould; his mother, Mary Ellen Bolin; and his siblings Susan (Ken) Carpenter, William “Bill” (Vicki) Bolin, and Karen (Ken) Rogers.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 19, 2016, at 12PM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with funeral services to follow at 1PM. Father John Fallon is officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
