Robert Amerson

Robert Parnell Amerson, born April 4, 1966, known to all as Parnell, went home to his Savior surrounded by those he loved on December 3, 2015. Parnell Amerson was a loving husband and father, song writer, avid turkey hunter, Eagle Scout, and sometimes he was known to make signs. He is survived by his devoted wife Cami, his four loving daughters Katherine, Caroline, Meredith, and Samantha, his father Leon, and his sister Leigh, as well as countless other family members and friends.
Visitation will be on Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 5 to 7pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover, Alabama. Funeral services will be Monday, December 7, 2015 at 1pm in the chapel of the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home with interment following at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
Parnell captured the hearts of all who knew him. His generosity towards others was seen not only by his family and friends, but by anyone who met him. His laughter was contagious, his spirit and love for life remarkable. His love and devotion to his wife and daughters was rare and so cherished. Our time spent with Parnell will always be treasured, and his legacy will live on in the lives of his children. Parnell, like his name, was unique and irreplaceable. What an honor we have been given to celebrate his life as he is welcomed into his final Home.
