Robert Abernathy

age 35, of Bessemer, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2011. He was an employee of Cheney Lime for the past three years. He was a graduate of Hueytown High School, class of 1993. He is survived by his wife of 14 years Tracy Abernathy; children, Briganna, Clay and Camden Abernathy; father, Clay (Vickie) Abernathy, mother, Kathy Montgomery; sisters, Kristi Caffee and Dana Adkins; brother, Daniel Adkins; grandmother, Jane Nichols Brown (Bob); great grandparents, Morris and Edith Rogers and Virgil Perry; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at 11 am in the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 from 6 until 8 pm at the funeral home.
