Richard Mccool

of Birmingham, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2007, at the age of 93. He was a U.S Army veteran of WWII and retired in 1975 from Civil Service in St. Louis, MO. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Lula McCool. He is survived by two sons, Mike McCool and wife, June, of Birmingham and Tom McCool and wife, Janet, of Maylene; two grandchildren, Jessica and Courtney McCool; and three great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 23, 2007, from 6-8 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2007, at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.
