Richard Keydoszius

Mr. Richard James of Hoover, age 85 passed away February 18, 2013. He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife Shirley, his parents and 8 brothers and sisters. Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Richard and Shirley made Hoover their home in 1961. He retired from Amsouth Bank in 1989. He is survived by his two sons, Dick (Carol), Ronald, and daughter Joyce Mackey (Gary). Richard found great joy in gardening, his Koi pond, and his grandchildren, Renee, Marc, Stephanie, Rachel, Wayne and Eric and great granddaughter Savannah. In his later years he enjoyed spending time with his best friend and favorite sparring buddy, his daughter Joyce. Richard's family would like to personally thank the nurses and staff of Golden Living in Riverchase and the wonderful ladies at Evercare Hospice and Palliative Care for their loving and compassionate care. A memorial service will be held at Saint Peter's Catholic Church in Hoover on Friday February 22 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard's son Ronald's honor to the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI), P.O.
