of Meridian, MS, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2008 at the age of 76. He was a Korean War Veteran. Mr. Honeycutt was a member of First Baptist Church, Marion, Scottish Right, member of East MS Sports Association and a resident of Meridian since August 1969. He retired from John Crawford & Associates, Atlanta, Georgia. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Honeycutt of Meridian, MS; a son, Rick Honeycutt (Peggy) of Demopolis, AL; a daughter, Carol Price of Birmingham, AL; six grandchildren, Brandi McLelland (Ronnie), April Miles (Lance), Lacey Brame (Lee), Crystal Burford (David), Andy and Karly Price; three great grandchildren, Alan Burford, Cameron Burford, and Clay Brame; a brother, Norman Honeycutt (Billie Faye) of Oneonta, AL and a sister, Dean Grill of Calera, AL. The family will receive friends Friday, December 26, 2008 from 12-1 pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Justin Knight officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
