Richard Higgs

of Hoover, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2008. He was employed with Compass Bank for 20 years and was also a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Higgs was an Elder with Chapel in the Pines Presbyterian Church and served on numerous committees. His generosity and kindness will not be forgotten. He was preceded in death by his parents, Belle and Kenneth Higgs; two sisters, Virginia Higgs and Marcia Hallead. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Nancy Higgs; a son, Andrew Higgs; seven nieces; a nephew; and his beloved puppy, Jackson. A memorial service will be held Monday, June 2, 2008, at 2:00 pm at Chapel in the Pines Presbyterian Church, Patton Chapel Road, Hoover, AL. Visitation will follow in the Great Hall of the church.
