Richard Emrick

, of Birmingham, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at the age of 82. He retired from the Mead Corporation in Dayton, Ohio in 1991. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Edna Emrick. He is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Rosemary Emrick; a son, Gregg Emrick (Carolyn Ann) of OH; a daughter, Barbara Nolen (William) of AL; four grandchildren, Shannon and Lauren Nolen, Erin Brown (Jason) of AL. and Christopher Emrick of OH. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 from 6-7 pm at Prince Of Peace Catholic Church, 4600 Moss Creek Blvd, Hoover. Funeral Mass will follow at 7 PM in the church chapel with Father McDaid officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Amedysis Hospice.
