, 73, of Hoover passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2008. Mr. Camp served four years in the United States Air Force. He was very proud to have earned his private pilots license. Mr. Camp formerly managed the Twin Pines Conference Center and retired from the Birmingham Race Course. In his early years he was a radio and television personality in Huntsville, Selma and Birmingham. Mr. Camp was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil H. Camp, Sr. and Martha R. Camp; brother, Cecil H. Camp, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Mary Alfano Camp; sisters, Margaret Camp Staehely and Martha Camp Bonum; brother, George H. Camp and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 12, 2008 from 5-7 pm at Prince Of Peace Catholic Church, 4600 Moss Creek Blvd, Hoover. Private graveside service will be held Thursday, November 13, 2008. Father Henry McDaid officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
