Rex Mcginnis, Jr

Mr. Rex Raymond McGinnis, Jr., of Stone Mountain, GA, passed away April 2, 2015, at the age of 78. He was a graduate of Auburn University and retired from FFE Transportation. Born and raised in Birmingham, AL, he had been a resident of Stone Mountain, GA for the past 26 years. He was a member of Stone Mountain United Methodist Church and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Martha McGinnis, son, Ken McGinnis (Jo), grandchildren, Tanner and Matthew McGinnis, sisters, Jane Lessley and Linda Ryerson and many loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be Monday, April 6, 2015, at 2 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
