Regina Ellis

In Loving Memory of Regina House Ellis Age 86, of Birmingham, Alabama went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 20, 2007. She was an active member of Aldersgate Methodist Church where she served as a member of the Board of Stewards, the Personnel Committee, the Outreach Team, the United Methodist Women, and the Praise and Worship Team. She was also involved in various social organizations and a member of The Club. "She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend who was admired and loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her." Survivors include her husband Joe L. Ellis, Jr.; sons William Michael (Gina) House, Patrick Mark (Beth) House and Richard Waldron (Pam) House, daughters; Catherine House (Jerry) Smith and Rebecca House (Mark) Thompson, grandchildren; Shay Smith, Bron (Katy) Smith, Tanner (Andy) Benson, Slade and Kate House, Shannon (Jeremy) Sticker, Mark, Andrew and Jordan House, Catherine and Mark Thompson; greatgrandchild Seattle Smith; brother John Cantrell; sister Jerrie Kitchings and daughter-in-law Katie House. Funeral services will be held Saturday July 28, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 2701 Sydney Drive, Birmingham, Alabama 35211. Rev. John Mount officiating. Visitation will be held Friday July 27, 2007 from 5:30-7:30 at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Memorial Gardens, 2701 John Hawkins Parkway, Hoover, Alabama 35244. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
