Rebekah Loveless

age 87, of Birmingham, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2006. Mrs. Loveless was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church for more than 50 years and later, Dawson Memorial Baptist Church. She served the Lord in various capacities in these churches, such as Sunday school teacher, the food bank, and the Woman's Missionary Union of the Baptist Church. Mrs. Loveless was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Charles Elmer Loveless. She is survived by her husband of 10 years, R. Clifton Corley; a son, David F. Loveless of Knoxville, TN; 2 daughters, Bonnie L. Burks and Gayle L. Meinert, both of Birmingham; and a brother, Charles Goddard Hurst, Jr. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 1:00, Wednesday, September 13, 2006, at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home on Hwy 150 in Hoover. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 in the funeral home chapel, Neil Nation officiating. Committal service will be held in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
