Randy Wayne Vines Sr. born January 17, 1958 of Sylvan Springs, formally Minor, passed away on July 26, 2015 at the age of 57. He was a graduate of Minor High School class of 1976. He had a tender heart and touched many lives. He was a hard worker and very dedicated to his family. He worked for 35 years at Dyson Conveyor Maintenance. He had a love for fishing, camping, animals, Auburn football and his Chevelle.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Vines, his father, Allen Vines, and sister, Judy Collins.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 37 years, Alice Vines and his children; Kendra, Randy Jr (Susan), and Michael (Jessie). He was known as PawPaw Daddy to 7 grandchildren; Taylor, Fisher, Merrit, Austin, Michael Adam, Joshua and Christopher. He is also survived by his sisters; Dotta Peoples, Janice Sellers, Carol Phillips, Kathy Hall and Susan Vines, and his brother, Allen Vines.
The family will receive friends Thursday, July 30, 2015, from 5-8 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Friday, July 31, 2015, at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Village Falls Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made in his honor to the Westie Rescue Southeast and Westie Rescue of Tennessee for his love for animals.
