Ralph Davidson

of Altadena, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2005, at the age of 98. He was born in Richmond, VA on March 28, 1907. Mr. Davidson was retired from Liberty Mutual Insurance and was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Howard Davidson; and a brother, Tom Davidson. He is survived by two sons, Robert H. Davidson (Nancy) of Chattanooga, TN and James F. Davidson of Pensacola, FL; two daughters, Jo Guthrie (Lamar) of Panama City, FL and Mimi Boatman (Tom) of Blountsville, AL; seven grandsons, Mike Davidson (Gigi), Greg Davidson (Carol), Reuben Guthrie (Laurie), Bo Gutherie (Carrie), Jim Davidson, Tom D. Boatman (Tammy), Dan Boatman (Lisa); six granddaughters, Julie Davidson (Scott), Lisa Guthrie, Elaine Hyde (Charles), Melanie McKelvey (Jim), Lee Alexander (Rob), Lynn Pass (Chad); fourteen great grandchildren; and a brother, Joe Davidson (Mary) of Richmond, VA. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 23, 2005, at Philadelphia Baptist Church from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the church, with Rev. Barry Bruce and Rev. Allan Murphy officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Philadelphia Baptist Church.
