Phyllis Mcgrath

Phyllis V. McGrath, of Birmingham, AL, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at the age of 87. She was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. She was a retired nurse and school teacher.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. McGrath, II and her son, Michael F. McGrath.
She is survived by two sons; Thomas W. McGrath, III (Debi) and John P. McGrath (Vanessa) and seven grandchildren; Tom, Patrick, Meghan, Kassidy, Sean, Michael and Kate.
The family will receive friends Monday, December 14, 2015, from 9-10 AM at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. Funeral mass will follow at 10 AM at the church. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
