Philmore Keith

of Vestavia Hills, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2008, at the age of 77. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and was employed with the Alabama State Troopers as a radio operator. Mr. Keith was a member of Shades Crest Baptist Church. He was the son of George and Maude Keith. He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Mildred Fields Keith; six brothers; and five sisters. He is survived by a son, Ron Musgrove (Debbie); two grandchildren, Melissa Toy (Matt) and David Musgrove; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 20, 2008, from 12-2 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel, with Dr. Dennis Foust officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
