Phillip Watson

age 52, of Hoover, passed away on June 23, 2006. He was a member of Hunter Street Baptist Church. He was an active leader in the Hoover Athletic Association and Spain Park High School Athletics. He was employed with Hitachi Data System Corporation. Phil was a devoted husband and wonderful father. His greatest joy was watching and coaching his two sons in their sporting activities. Funeral Services will be held at Hunter Street Baptist Church on Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens South. Dr. Buddy Gray officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 26, 2006 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the church. He was preceded in death by his father Russell Watson. Survivors: wife of 23 happy years Janice Y. Watson, two sons; Drew Edward Watson and Matt Dalton Watson, mother; Opal Watson, brother; Jeff Watson, sister; Liz Hester and a host of other loving family members and friends.
