Peggy Brown

Mrs. Peggy J. Brown, of Riverchase/Hoover, AL, went to be with the Lord Thursday, April 10, 2014, at the age of 83. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Birmingham and taught sunday school at 7th Street Baptist and Fairfield Highlands Baptist for over 25 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, of 66 years, Howard Brown, daughters, Kathy Yarbrough (George) and Jenny West (Donnie), three grandchildren, Lindsey Hendrix (Rex), Jordan Yarbrough, and Kendall West, two great grandchildren, Ava and Bella Hendrix, extended family members and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 14, 2014, from 1-2 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home with funeral services following at 2 PM. Interment will be in Valhalla Cemetery.
