Pearline Whittington

Mrs. Pearline Underwood Whittington, 93, of Bessemer, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2013. She had a tremendous love for gardening and cooking. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Pat Whittington. She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Shattuck and Shirley Young (Eddie); three grandchildren, Bernard Shattuck (Jonny), Scott Young (Jill), and Nikki West (Joey); five great grandchildren, Everett, Abby, Davis, Jack and Lily; one sister, Pernie Sherrer. A host of nieces, nephews and friends. Graveside services will be on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 11 AM at the Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 at the funeral home.
