On August 10th, 2023, Paul “Mason” Dueitt passed away in Birmingham, AL unexpectedly following a motor vehicle accident at the age of 36.
 
Mason was born in Laurel, MS on February 20, 1987. He moved with his family to Hoover, AL at age 2 where he resided for the remainder of his life. 
 
As a child, Mason spent most of his time playing with friends, usually at the ballpark. It didn’t matter the sport, he excelled at all of them. Mason developed into a decorated athlete at Hoover High School. Later, he spent most of his time in Auburn pulling for his beloved Tigers. 
 
He is survived by his father, Raimund Dueitt (Denise); his brother Cory Dueitt (Beryl); his aunt Debbie Vehnekamp (Billy); his uncle Paul Derrick (Leslie); his aunt Liz Harris (Joey), as well as several loving cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Stacy Dueitt. 
 
The family invites all friends to come and celebrate his life on Tuesday, August 15th at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover, AL.  Visitation will begin at 1:30 with memorial service to follow at 2:00.
