Patricia Reese

June 6, 1933 — October 21, 2024

Pat went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 21, 2024, at the age of 91, after an extended illness.

Pat was born on June 6, 1933, in Amity, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Mary Elaine Brown and Kenneth Q. McAfee. She married Ralph O. Reese in November of 1951. She worked for Packard Electric in Warren, Ohio for 30 years before retiring in 1989.

Pat always "lived life in full bloom", was kind to all, energetic and generous. She never met a stranger. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan all her life. She had a plan for each day and enjoyed taking long walks and watching many sports since retiring. She loved seeing her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow.

After retirement, she moved from Ohio to Alabama in 2001. She worked at Shades Cahaba After School Care for 10 years. She was a member of Bluff Park United Methodist Church where she was active with the Shepherds Center and traveled often with that group. She enjoyed spending her time volunteering at the BPUMC Food Pantry.

Surviving are two children, Darlene Wilcox (Rick) of Hoover, Alabama, and Dan Reese of Flint, Michigan. Four grandchildren, Christin Davis (Greg) of Helena, Alabama; Derek Wilcox (Gina) of Hoover, Alabama; Adam Reese of Michigan; and Aurora Reese of Iowa. She also has five great-grandchildren; Owen Davis, Drew Davis, Bella Wilcox, Stella Ruth Wilcox and Mariella Wilcox. Pat also leaves behind her sisters, Bette Lea Amos of New Mexico and Vickie Amos (Jim) of Amity, Pennsylvania, as well as her sister-in-law Lee Reese Traficanti, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her husband of 45 years, Ralph O. Reese, and three brothers, K. Harvey McAfee, Ronald R. McAfee and William B. McAfee.

Pat will be sadly missed by family and friends. Visitation is on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, from 2p -3p at Bluff Park United Methodist Church.
