Ottie Keef

of Snellville, GA, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2006, at the age of 86. She was a long time member of the Eastern Stars at Cahaba Heights Lodge. Mrs. Keef was born in 1920 to Rose and Will Bearden of New Merkle, AL and was one of the eight children that shared a life long bond of love and friendship. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman E. Keef of Vestavua and her beloved daughter, Carolyn Adams Hyche of Leeds, AL. She is survived by a son, W. E. Adams of Calera; a daughter, Barbara (Bobbie) Adams Miller of Snellville, GA; eleven grandchildren; twenty-two greatchildren; 1 great great grandchild; two brothers, Jim Bearden of Houston, TX and Jude Bearden of Birmingham; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 2, 2006, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Funeral sevices will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2006, at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.
