of Alabaster, passed away March 15, 2005 at the age of 78. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII, and retired from Alabama Power after 40 years of service. Mr. Johnson was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Alabaster. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. He is survived by his wife, Betty H. Johnson, of Alabaster; one son, Kenneth Mack Johnson (Tammy), of Alabaster, one daughter, Karen J. Phillips (Tony), of Montevallo; one granddaughter, Jaime Little; one grandson, Austin Little; one brother, James Johnson, of Boston, MA; one sister, Peggy Campbell, of Montgomery; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 17, 2005 from 12 to 2 pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Southside Baptist Church in Alabaster. Currie-Jefferson directing.
