Opal Cash Chapman

Opal Jean Cash Chapman, age 87 of McCalla, AL passed away at Grandview Medical Center, Birmingham, AL on March 20, 2022 after an extended illness. She retired from US Steel in Birmingham after a long career. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Cash, her father, Otis L. Cash; Father of their 3 children, Charles Chapman; Five siblings, Joe Cash, Aubrey Cash, Cecil Cash, Mary Medders and Martha Edwards. Survivors include her beloved children Brenda (Bill) Cox of Pelham, Charles (Tina) Chapman of Lawley, AL and Kathy (Jim) Dorwaldt of Vestavia, six cherished grandchildren, her loving siblings, Billy Cash, Ophelia Huff, Linda Kuch, Steve Cash, Richard Cash and Reba Austin, numerous family members and friends, who will always have wonderful memories of her.

Graveside services will be Friday, March 25, 2022 at 11:00 at Tabernacle United Methodist Church, Lawley, AL.
