Ohaver Sawyer

OHAVER ANN SAWYER, age 83 of Homewood, AL passed away at her residence Thursday, October, 22, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years John W. Sawyer; son, John R. Sawyer; sister Jaunita S. Hunt; and brothers, Cecil Linton and George Linton. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was especially loved by her many sister-in-laws. She was a member of the Oakmont United Methodist Church and she retired from Birmingham Radiological Group.
She is survived by her sister Mary E. Davis, two sons and their wives; Gregory and Michelle Sawyer and Jason and Susan Sawyer; grandchildren Meghan L. Sawyer and Kristen N. Sawyer; and niece Jackie Webb.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Oakmont United Methodist Church.
Family request in lieu of flowers donations be sent to Oakmont United Methodist Church in her name.
