, of Hoover, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at the age of 75. She was born June 30, 1933 to N. Dewey and Willie Mae Studdard. Sue was a member of Hunter Street Baptist Church. She was formerly employed by The Federal Reserve Bank. Sue loved family, friends and church. She also enjoyed the game of golf having made a hole in one at Woodward Country Club and played at many courses around Birmingham as well as St. Andrews Old Course in Scotland. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant sister, Sandra Faye Studdard; two brothers, Claudie Ray Studdard both from Carbon Hill, community of Studdard's Crossroads and Rayford Dewey Studdard of Birmingham. She is survived by her two sons, Drs. Jeffrey Mark Gallups (Nancy) of Atlanta, GA and Todd Clinton Gallups (Kim) of Birmingham, AL; four grandchildren, Nicole, Daniel, Cameron and Mark Gallups; a brother, Hoyt Studdard (Margaret); three sisters, Jackie Ramsbacher (Bob), Gwen Kimbrell (Charles) and Tallulah DeMarco; sister-in-law, Lynn Studdard all of Birmingham; several loving nieces and nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 1, 2009 from 5-7 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Highway 150, Hoover. Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Buddy Gray officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, Trussville.
