Newton Pearson

of Bessemer, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2007, at the age of 81. He was retired from Continental Can Company. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Birdie Pearson; a son, Albert Pearson (Lauren) of Bessemer; two daughters, Linda Jasper (Robert) of Sylvan Springs and Cindy Houtz (Alan) of Oconomowoc, WI; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 10, 2007, from 10-11 AM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. A graveside service will follow at 11 AM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South with Jim Profetto officiating.
