81, passed away August 21, 2006. A life-long resident of Alabaster, Mrs. Rhoden was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Alabaster. And "Miss Madge," as she was affectionately known to everyone, liked working with ceramics. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, James C. Rhoden; 3 sons, Marvin Neal Bailey (Shirley), Johnny Bailey, and Thomas Bailey (JoAnn); 2 grandchildren, Nathan Bailey (Melissa) and Chris Horton; 1 great-grandchild, Benjamen Bailey; and a sister, Paula Avery of St. Petersburg, FL. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:30, Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home on Hwy 150 in Hoover. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00, Wednesday, August 23, 2006, Rev. Mike Byars officiating. Interment will follow in the Still Cemetery in Alabaster.
