Nell Howard

Nell Marie Howard was born on March 25,1928 and went to her Heavenly home on the morning of December 24,2021 at the age of 93. She is preceded in death by her parents James and Beulah Robertson, husband George Howard Senior, daughter Nelda Workman, daughter and son-in-law Linda and Jimmy Shackelford, son and daughter-in-law George Junior and Reba Howard. Also by her siblings: George Robertson, Homer Robertson, Mildred Cooper, Mona Lee Vaughn, and Virginia (Zina) Gordon.

Left to cherish her memories are her son and caregiver, John Howard, son and daughter-in-law James and Jackie Howard. Her 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way, and 2 great-great-grandchildren with one on the way, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was faithful to Our Lord and Savior, praising his name until she was called home. "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith" 2 Timothy 4:7

As per her wishes, there will be a graveside service on Thursday, December 30,2021 at 11:00AM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South in Hoover. In lieu of flowers, the family requests one give to their favorite charity in support.
