Nelda Selman

July 13, 1940 — April 7, 2017

Nelda G. Selman, of McCalla, formerly of Lipscomb, went to be with the Lord, Friday, April 7, 2017, at the age of 76. She was a 1959 graduate of Jones Valley High School. Ms. Selman was a beloved teacher in the Jefferson Country School System. With her kind personality, she was a joy to all who met her, and she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her son, Dave Selman (Jamie); daughter, Kim Selman; and grandchildren, Cole and Payton Selman.

The family will receive friends from 1-2, Tuesday April 11, 2017, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. Graveside service will follow at 2 PM in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
