Nancy Charles

of McCalla, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2009, at the age of 62. She was a member of Shades Mountain Independent Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Signor and Marguerite Sharpe; and a brother David Sharpe. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Bert Charles; two sons, Bert Charles (Tara) and Brad Charles (Carin); five grandchildren, Payton, Harrison, Brooke, Caroline and Brennen Charles; three brothers, Johnny, Michael and Mark Sharpe. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 28, 2009, from 12-2 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Jonathan Cox officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
