Nancy Allen

Nancy Russell Allen of Alabaster entered eternal life on February 21, 2025, at the age of 78. She was born on January 22, 1947, to the late Virginia (R.V.) and Jesse Russell. She was a 1965 graduate of Thompson High School. She worked in the banking industry and crane services, but she was most proud to have worked as a Secretary at Siluria Baptist Church and First Baptist of Alabaster. She and Greg taught Sunday School for many years. She played piano and was an organist at Siluria Baptist Church.

Left to celebrate her memory are loving husband, Greg (married 57 years.) Her children David (Suzy) Allen and Amy (Scott) Bailey. Her grandchildren, Madeline (Justin) Cook, Mitchell (Hannah) Bailey, Grant Holtam, Emily Allen, Matthew Allen. Brother, Tommy Russell and Sister-in-law, Kay Russell.

She is predeceased by her sister, Patsy Russell and Brother Charles Russell. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, dear friends and Sunday school class members.
