Mitchell Davis

of Hoover, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at the age of 20. He was a 2004 graduate of Hoover High School, where he participated in wrestling and cheerleading. Mitch was a sophomore at the University of Alabama in pre-pharmacy. He was in the church youth choir at Shades Crest Baptist Church and was involved in the church basketball league. He was also an avid skateboarder, loved music and was a big sports fanatic. He is survived by his mother, Edee White and step-father, Carl White of Hoover; his father, Mitch Davis and step-mother, Sheila Davis of Phenix City; a sister, Colita Davis of Hoover; one step-brother, Graham White of Brownsburg, IN; one step-sister, Chloe White of Evansville, IN; and grandparents, Christine and Cletus Yerk, of West Lafayette, IN. The family will receive friends on Sunday, Feburary 12, 2006 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Shades Crest Baptist Church, with funeral services to follow at 3:00 p.m. Dr. Dennis Foust and Rev.
